On Saturday 11th November Magor RFC hosted Division 4 side Crickhowell RFC, after both sides respective league oppositions couldn’t raise a side.
An even first half turned out a score of 7-7, with Magor number eight Owen Pearson scoring at the back of a driving lineout.
On 65 minutes, winger Ryan Bedborough intercepted the ball in his own 22 to get stopped 10 meters out to a high tackle. Josh Griffiths converted the resulted penalty (10-7).
Minutes later an elusive run from Josh Griffiths from turnover, put Ryan Bedborough under the sticks to take the score to 17-7.
In the dying moments, a strong drive from the Magor forwards put Captain Owen Pearson in for his second try of the game.
