The game started well with Magor on the front foot and after 14 minutes a penalty right in front of the posts took them to 3 - 0 (Pen from Ryan Bedborough).
The following restart did not go to plan and after a few penalties Magor found themselves defending on the try line which led to a Hartridge try (converted). Score now 3-7.
Another penalty kicked by Ryan Bedborough on 21 minutes and Magor were back in it – score now 6-7, but yet again more indiscipline after the KO led to Hartridge kicking another penalty (6-10).
A few minutes later the Magor prop Owen Pearson went on a marauding run and fending off people left right and centre, this created a lot of room for the Magor backs and after a piece of play led to the Magor fly half Ellis Wainwright crossing the white wash (11-10 conversion hit post).
12 minutes later just as half time approached Hartridge scored a killer blow going blind and crossing the line off of a ruck from 5m out. (11-17 converted try)
The second half was not such a free flowing affair with Hartridge kicking another two penalties to Magor's one. There were however some strong running and powerful performances in defence and the most notable mentions should go to the Player Of The Match Rhys Delap, centre Louis Kington filling in from his usual position of back row and the ever strong Ian Lane at 8.
